2009 - 2010 School Grade: "A"

Schools are assigned a grade based primarily upon student achievement data from the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT). School grades communicate, to the public, how well a school is performing, relative to state standards.

Congratulations to the students and staff of SSA+S for achieving an "A" on the
2009-2010 School Grade.

Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP)

SSA+S also earned a 100% regarding, Adequate Yearly Progress,
based on student learning gains as established by the guidelines and
regulations of the "No Child Left Behind Act."

Schedule
As you walk your child's schedule, you will "attend"
each class for seven minutes. Teachers will present a general overview
of the class and answer general questions. This is not a parent
conference night and teachers are not allowed to discuss
specific students. If you have specific concerns, you can schedule a
meeting for parent conference night, which will be held on Thursday,
September 24th.}

It's that time of year again – capture school memories with portraits by Lifetouch. Mark your calendars and get ready for Picture Day on Thursday, September 16, 2010.

Students received flyers this week at school with all of the detailed information you need. All students will be photographed on this date, and uniforms will be worn. These pictures will be used for the 2010-2011 yearbook. If you would like to purchase your student's portraits, please return the picture packet with payment on or before September 16, 2010.
