Greeting SSAS Parents!

As part of the Florida State education guidelines for 2019 2020, we will be providing a brief presentation to the SSAS students on child trafficking. This presentation will be facilitated by Mr. Mapes and Mrs. Kozlowski and will occur in all grades during the PE classes on Monday January 27^th. http://fldoe.org/schools/healthy-schools/human-trafficking.stml

This presentation will include a video provided by Sarasota County which covers middle school appropriate information on common types of child trafficking, general information about their respective dangers, as well as ways to get help or tell someone if there is a concern related to this topic. • We will introduce child trafficking (all grades)

• We will show the video (30 minutes) with active discussion

• After the video we will do a wrap up with key points and a brief Q and A
