SSA+S HAS CAUSE FOR CELEBRATION
Sarasota School of Arts and Sciences turns 20!
Sarasota School of Arts and Sciences, located in the Rosemary District of downtown, is Sarasota’s longest continually operating charter school. This spring the school will acknowledge and commemorate serving Sarasota area students for 20 years with Celebration!, a semi-formal event for parents, board members, founding members, staff, former students and community supporters.
Celebration! will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2017 (from 6-10 p.m.) at The Francis located at 1289 N. Palm Ave. Tickets are $75 per person. There will be entertainment and a silent auction.
SSA+S principal Tara Tahmosh-Newell says “As an original charter school, SSA+S has progressed from a fledgling dream to one of the best educational opportunities in the state of Florida, helping our students become responsible students and citizens. We look forward to our 20-year anniversary celebration of our collaborative success with our faculty, families, and alumni.”
